These pesto-palms are so easy that you can make the process a bit harder if you want, like preparing your own puff pastry, or preparing your own homemade pesto, even preparing more complex versions of pesto. This one is so easy I almost feel embarrased about this recipe, but here it goes:
INGREDIENTS:
- Rectangular puff pastry.
- Pesto sauce
- a handful of parmesan cheese
PROCEDURE:
- Extend your puff pastry and cover with pesto.
- Now draw an imaginary line that cuts in half the pastry in its longer side.
- Roll each of the halves towards the middle, creating the shape of the palms.
- Cut pieces of 1 cm wide.
- Place in the baking sheet and sprinkle parmesan on top.
- Bake for 10min at 180C.
