Lime flavoured Tuna

I love tuna. It is one of my favourite fishes, and I love to eat it almost raw. Unfortunately I cannot always eat it like that, therefore, the days that I eat home and have a bit more of time, I prepare it in this special way. Easy, fast, and fresh flavours!

INGREDIENTS:
  • Tuna loin.
  • Half glass of soy sauce.
  • 2 limes.
  • A bunch of fresh cilantro.
  • 1 fresh red hot chili pepper.
PREPARATION:
  • In a hot pan, sear the tuna. Sear means cook each side of the loin in a hot pan in a way that outside gets cooked but in the inside is still raw.
  • Meanwhile, mix in a recipient the juice of two limes, with the soy sauce and finely chopped cilantro.
  • Once the tuna is seared, let it rest in the sauce we have just prepared for at least 3 hours, turning it in a way that every side gets the sauce and the flavours.
  • When cutting, dry the loin and cut it in half centimeter pieces. Sprinkle the frshly chopped chili peppers and place a container with the marinating sauce to dip.

    Bon profit!
